“THE ROLE OF THE RECTORS ‘CONFERENCE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE HIGHER EDUCATION SYSTEM” SEMINAR WAS HELD

The next seminar on “The Role of the Rectors ‘Conference in the Development of the Higher Education System” on May 16-20, 2022, as part of the Erasmus+ ECAR “Establishment of Rectors’ Conference in Azerbaijan” coordinated by Baku Business University and funded by the European Commission started. The Royal University of Technology, one of Sweden’s leading universities is hosting the seminar dedicated to establishing the rectors’ conference and studying European experience in developing higher education.

A representative of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, 3 rectors from 15 Azerbaijani universities, 20 vice-rectors from different fields, and other executives attended the seminar.

Authorized representatives of the Rectors’ Conference of Sweden, Lithuania, Finland, and Poland, rectors of the Royal University of Technology, Stockholm University, and Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences are expected to participate in the event.

Monica Steinel, Deputy Secretary General of the European University Association, will make a presentation on “Universities without Walls – A vision for 2030”.

“REKTORLAR KONFRANSININ ALİ TƏHSİLİN İNKİŞAFINDA ROLU” ADLI SEMİNAR KEÇİRİLMİŞDİR

Bakı Biznes Universitetinin koordinatoru olduğu və Avropa Komissiyası tərəfindən maliyyələşdirilən “Azərbaycanda Rektorlar Konfransının yaradılması”   Erasmus+ layihəsi çərçivəsində 16-20 may tarixlərini əhatə edən “Ali təhsil sisteminin inkişafında rektorlar konfransının rolu” adlı növbəti seminara start verilmişdir. Rektorlar konfransının yaradılması və ali təhsilin inkişaf etdirilməsi üçün Avropa təcrübəsinin öyrənilməsinə həsr edilən seminara İsveçin nüfuzlu univeristetlərindən biri olan Kral Texnologiya Universiteti ev sahibliyi edir. Sözügedən tədbirdə Azərbaycan Respublikası Təhsil Nazirliyinin nümayəndəsi, 15 Azərbaycan universitetindən 3 rektorv, 20 müxtəlif sahələr üzrə prorektor və digər rəhbər şəxslər iştirak edirlər. Tədbirdə İsveç, Litva, Finlandiya və Polşa Rektorlar Konfransının səlahiyyətli nümayəndələrinin, Kral Texnologiya Universitetinin, Stockholm Universitetinin və Haaga-Helia Tətbiqi Elmlər Universitetinin rektorlarının iştirakı nəzərdə tutulub. Həmçinin seminarın növbəti günlərində Avropa Universitetlər Birliyinin Baş katibinin müavini Monika Steinelin “Sərhədsiz Universitetlər- 2030 gələcəyə baxış” mövzusunda təqdimatı baş tutacaqdır.
